About Genesis
Genesis Melara is a new writer based in California. Genesis found love in writing ever since she would see her mother doing the same, but didn't start writing poetry until she was having many health issues, writing her frustrations out helped her go through it.
Her first poetry book, The Art In Letting You Go is based on a relationship that brought much of that passion for writing out as well. She takes you through her thoughts as she was learning how to get out of her comfort zone and also understanding that not everything you love stays and that it's for the better sometimes that it doesn't.
